(As needed, based on product or machine complexity)

About the Program:

During this workshop, teams can develop or refine their own System, Design, Process or Equipment FMEA with the guidance of an expert facilitator. Participants will learn key aspects of FMEA and the team will benefit from specific feedback on their particular FMEA. This workshop is often used to help teams create an effective FMEA in a reduced amount of time.

Learning Objectives:

  • Apply steps to develop sufficient FMEAs to reduce risk of failure.
  • Understand FMEA as an information hub driving activities that prevent or detect errors.

Who Should Attend:

Individuals who are directly involved with the development or maintenance of FMEA documentation.

Features & Benefits:

  • Facilitation using PC and projection device keeps team members focused on the task at hand, and eliminates additional recording or re-keying.
  • Outside facilitator acts as "devil’s advocate" and assures the FMEA follows necessary requirements.
