14. ISO 9001:2000 Auditor Transition Course For Internal and Certified QMS Auditors
Two-Day - 1.6 CEU's

This course has been approved by the RAB for auditor transition training and meets the requirements for continuous professional development for all certified auditors.

Why Transition Training?

The number of major changes from ISO 9000:1994 to ISO 9000:2000 revision will require significant changes to Quality Management Systems and audit methodology. All management and internal auditors will need to gain the knowledge and understanding of theses changes to continue effective audit practices.

Course Benefits

This workshop is designed to meet the specific requirements for Certified Auditor Transition Training. Successful completion will enable an auditor to:

  • Audit ISO 9001:2000 effectively
  • Meet the regulatory body requirements
  • Complete required CEU hours

Key Topics

  • The purpose and goals of the Year 2000 standards
  • The Eight Quality Management Principles upon which ISO 9001:2000 is based
  • The interrelationship of ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 9004 and ISO 19011
  • The requirements of ISO 9001 and the objective evidence needed to demonstrate conformance and effectiveness
  • Implications for auditing techniques

In this course you will work in small groups, developing a QMS for your organization and addressing the auditing techniques needed to be successful. You will prepare your own course notebook detailing how you have met the RAB's objectives for learning. There is no test! (But you do have to attend for the full 14 hours and compete the notebook satisfactorily)!

Who Else Will Benefit?

  • First and Second Party Auditors, even if you're not a certified auditor, you will want to find out what you need to do to audit to the Year 2000 revisions.
  • Management Representatives and others interested in the revisions. If you'd like to attend the first day, we can accommodate you! Half the cost! Plus; you will gain insights from experienced third party auditors!
